“Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr Light Candlelit Vigil for George Harrison”

In a deeply emotional gathering, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr reunited to honor the memory of their late bandmate George Harrison on what would have been his birthday.

The vigil took place in London’s Regent’s Park, where fans lit hundreds of candles and laid flowers in tribute to the “Quiet Beatle.” Paul and Ringo arrived quietly, walking hand in hand with members of George’s family.

Paul, visibly moved, placed a lotus flower at the center of the memorial and said softly:
“George’s spirit is in every note we play, in every garden that blooms, in every heart that listens.”

Ringo, raising his peace sign, added:
“He gave us light, and he still does. Peace and love for George—always.”

As the candles flickered in the night, Paul strummed an acoustic guitar and played “Something,” with Ringo tapping along gently on a hand drum. The crowd sang in hushed voices, their harmonies lifting into the cold night air.

For fans, it was more than a vigil—it was a sacred reunion, where the surviving Beatles carried their brother’s memory forward in music and love.
