“Paul McCartney Funds Music Therapy Program in John Lennon’s Name”

In a gesture that brought fans to tears, Paul McCartney has quietly funded a brand-new music therapy initiative dedicated to his late friend and bandmate, John Lennon. The program, set to launch in Liverpool, will provide free music-based therapy for children and adults struggling with trauma, grief, and mental health challenges.

Paul reportedly wanted to honor John’s lifelong belief in the healing power of music and peace. Speaking at a small unveiling, Paul said with emotion in his voice:

“John always believed music could change the world—and he was right. This program is about giving people hope, strength, and a way to heal. It’s for John, and it’s for everyone who needs music the most.”

The center will offer group sessions, songwriting workshops, and instrument lessons, all aimed at helping participants express emotions they cannot put into words.

Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon, who were moved by Paul’s decision, shared their gratitude. Sean commented, “My dad would have loved this. He knew music wasn’t just entertainment—it was medicine for the soul.”

For Beatles fans, the initiative feels like a perfect continuation of the Lennon legacy: using music as a force for healing, unity, and love.
