“In Abbey Road Once More: Paul and Ringo Pay Tribute to Their Fallen Bandmates”

History repeated itself in a deeply emotional way yesterday as Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr walked side by side across the world’s most famous crosswalk—Abbey Road. But this time, the steps carried more than nostalgia. They carried remembrance.

The two surviving Beatles returned to Abbey Road Studios in London to honor their late bandmates, John Lennon and George Harrison, in an intimate tribute. Fans gathered outside the studios, holding flowers, guitars, and handwritten signs that read “Forever Four.”

Inside the studio, Paul sat at the very piano where he once composed “Let It Be,” while Ringo tapped softly on his snare. Together, they performed stripped-down renditions of “Here Comes the Sun” and “In My Life.” The room, filled with family and close friends, fell silent except for the music—fragile, timeless, and full of love.

At the end of the set, Paul raised his glass and whispered, “To John and George, who never really left us.”

Ringo added simply: “Peace and love, always.”

For fans, the sight of Paul and Ringo together at Abbey Road—where it all began and where it will forever live—was more than a reunion. It was a message: that The Beatles, in spirit, remain four.
