President Donald Trump said he is “willing” to release a report on the assassination attempts made against him during the 2024 presidential campaign, as he delved into the two incidents
Donald Trump has pledged to disclose a report detailing the assassination attempts made against him during his campaign trail.
A reporter in the Oval Office asked on Thursday, “It’s been seven months. Why do you think we don’t know more about the guy who shot you in the ear?”
To which Trump responded, “Well, and the second one with all of the cell phones,” referencing another alleged attempt on September 15, 2024, at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, where suspect Ryan Wesley Routh was reportedly found with six phones.”I want to find the answers,” Trump asserted, expressing frustration with Biden’s inaction. “They are giving me a report next week sometime, and I do believe I’ll be releasing it. I want to release the report,” he announced.
Moreover, Trump shared insights about the devices found on would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks, questioning, “You had one who had three apps, two of which were foreign… What’s that all about?” He further pondered the necessity of owning six cell phones, as was the case with the second assailant.”We’re going to be releasing a report on that soon,” the president said, affirming his earlier statements.
He engaged with the journalist’s inquiries about a potential wider operation linking the two incidents. “We’re going to be releasing a report on that soon,” the president said, affirming his earlier statements.

“Based on what you’re saying right there, the lack of information and the data points that you just gave, does that make you think that they’re some part of a… that there’s something bigger?” probed the reporter.
The president replied, “They could be! Well, it makes other people think that,” before adding, “It makes me think it a little bit too. I say, when you have three apps and two of them are foreign, and you had an FBI that wouldn’t report on it – they didn’t want to say why – I would say that could be suspicious.”, reports the Irish Star.
